Senior Hardware Engineer, Core Compute

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical components and subsystems for ruggedized processing and interface products.
• Generate requirements and design computing processors, FPGAs, and their supporting interface circuits.
• Develop hardware/software requirement documents and test plans for high-speed interfacing, video, and target detection.
• Execute full product lifecycles including schematic capture, PWB layout, prototype builds, testing, and production release.
• Perform power, thermal, and signal integrity analyses to meet EMI/EMC standards.
• Conduct Six Sigma design tools such as DFMEA and reliability analysis for military hardware.
• Lead projects by managing budgets, manpower, and interactions with customers and outside groups.
• Maintain detailed records of design changes, debug status, and hardware/software revisions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 12+ years of applicable experience.
• Ability to use engineering development and test tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance (preferred).
• Previous experience working on ground combat vehicles (preferred).
• US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
