What you'll do

Develop and maintain Java microservices to manage product catalogs, hierarchies, and organizational master data.
Build React-based internal tools and dashboards for merchants and data stewards to manage complex data operations.
Implement data quality features including validation, canonicalization, and entity resolution across multiple sales channels.
Integrate backend services with Kafka event streaming and Temporal workflow orchestration systems.
Manage system reliability by participating in on-call rotations and building observability through New Relic and custom dashboards.
Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers on technical design and best practices.
Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage deployments within AWS environments.

What we're looking for

Must have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in both backend services and frontend applications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or Data Engineering.
Proficiency in at least two programming languages including Java or Kotlin for microservices.
Experience building production React applications with TypeScript.
Proficiency in infrastructure tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with backend technologies such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of distributed systems, including event-driven architectures and data consistency trade-offs.
