The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer joins the PIM Egress team to support the Product Core Service, a mission-critical API and Kafka interface delivering product data across the business. You will design, build, and operate Java microservices and React-based internal tools used by merchants and data stewards to manage catalogs and govern organizational entities. Key responsibilities include developing validation, canonicalization, and entity resolution capabilities to ensure data consistency across wholesale and marketplace channels. You will utilize a technical stack including Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Temporal, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Additionally, you will manage infrastructure using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform while ensuring operational excellence through New Relic observability, structured logging, and incident response for high-scale, low-latency data systems.

What you'll do

Build and evolve Java microservices that power product information management and integrate with Kafka-based event streaming.
Design and develop React-based internal tools and operational dashboards for merchants and data stewards.
Build validation, canonicalization, and entity resolution capabilities to ensure data consistency across all sales channels.
Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response, alerting, and structured logging for production services.
Contribute to architectural decisions and perform design reviews to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform health.
Provision infrastructure using Terraform and manage containerized deployments via Docker and Kubernetes.
Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering both backend services and frontend applications.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or Data Engineering.
Proficiency in more than one programming language and experience with agentic development.
Experience building production React applications with TypeScript.
Proficiency in Java microservices, PostgreSQL, and Kafka event-driven architectures.
Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal (preferred).
Strong verbal, written, and diagramming communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
