As a Senior Data Architect within the AI for Good Research Lab, you will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and deliver world-class data platforms, products, and services. Your daily responsibilities include designing cloud architectures for data science projects, developing solutions for applied AI scenarios, and providing technical leadership during architecture design and deployment. You will perform security peer reviews, resolve service issues, and create documentation while representing product offerings to internal and external audiences. The role requires proficiency in Azure architectures, as well as experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Service Oriented Architectures, and REST. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field and have extensive engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python to solve complex data science problems.
Design and implement cloud architectures to support data science and experimentation projects.
Develop cloud-based solutions for applied AI scenarios.
Integrate artificial intelligence tools and practices across the software development lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership for architecture design, development, and deployment for partner data science scenarios.
Participate in security peer reviews, including code reviews and threat modeling.
Resolve service issues, provide technical guidance to users, and create technical documentation.
Present capabilities and product offerings to both technical and non-technical leadership audiences.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Experience with Azure AI services, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch (preferred).
Experience as an agile practitioner with knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and/or REST (preferred).
Hands-on experience creating Proofs of Concept and Minimum Viable Products for production deployments (preferred).
