What you'll do

Lead the architecture and delivery of high-scale web products across frontend, backend services, and data layers.
Own multi-team initiatives from problem discovery and design reviews to phased rollouts and success metrics.
Drive reliability, performance, and observability improvements to meet exascale infrastructure standards.
Establish engineering standards and reusable platforms to reduce complexity and manage long-term technical debt.
Collaborate with AI Research teams to identify pain points and deliver a next-generation user experience.
Mentor and sponsor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and coaching to improve code quality and security.
Stay ahead of AI/ML infrastructure trends and drive the adoption of best practices within the team.

What we're looking for

12+ years of software engineering experience delivering production web systems.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Deep cloud expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure, including infrastructure as code, containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Full-stack proficiency in modern SPA frameworks (React/Next.js or Vue/Nuxt), JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js, Python, and/or Golang.
Proficiency in REST API design, schema evolution, and integration patterns with a commitment to automated testing.
Experience building machine learning platforms or self-service internal infrastructure tools focused on efficiency and observability.
Familiarity with observability stacks such as OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
Hands-on ML platform depth or familiarity with DL frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, and Ray (preferred).
