Senior Expert (AI Engineering)

What you'll do

• Design and train advanced machine learning models for drug discovery.
• Own end-to-end model lifecycle from problem definition to production deployment.
• Conduct rigorous benchmarking and validation of AI models against scientific objectives.
• Deploy scalable inference services meeting latency, throughput, and cost requirements.
• Build automated training pipelines including mechanisms for detecting model drift.

What we're looking for

• Minimum four years of experience building and deploying machine learning models with real-world impact.
• Deep proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or JAX for model design and optimization.
• Proven expertise in fine-tuning and deploying large pre-trained models including language and scientific models.
• Strong understanding of model evaluation techniques, benchmarking, and performance across data distributions.
• Experience with distributed training and large-scale computing environments for high-performance model training.
• Hands-on skills in optimizing models and pipelines for latency, throughput, cost, and production performance.
• Expertise in MLOps practices including experiment tracking, model versioning, reproducibility, and cloud deployment.
