Senior Power Electronics Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the power regulation and DC-DC conversion design for maritime autonomous vehicles.
• Design voltage regulation circuits for multiple subsystem voltage rails.
• Optimize converter efficiency to maximize vehicle endurance and range.
• Manage thermal design for power electronics within sealed enclosures.
• Ensure power quality for sensitive loads including compute, sensors, and communications.
• Interface with energy storage, distribution, and consuming subsystem teams.
• Support EMI/EMC design and qualification testing.
• Support prototype integration and testing at various test sites.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics, voltage regulation, or DC-DC converter design.
• Experience with converter topology selection and efficiency optimization.
• Familiarity with thermal management for power electronics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience with marine or vehicle power regulation systems (preferred).
• Working knowledge of wide-input-range converter design (preferred).
• Experience with EMI/EMC design for power electronics (preferred).
• Experience in defense or maritime robotics (preferred).
