Senior Encryption Engineer (Data at Rest)

What you'll do

• Secure enterprise-scale data protection platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
• Manage encryption, tokenization, and key management systems to ensure the security of sensitive data.
• Automate operational processes and troubleshoot complex integrations with application and infrastructure teams.
• Design and engineer comprehensive access management and network security technical solutions.
• Perform HSM initialization, operations, and participation in key ceremonies.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub, and multi-cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
• Integrate applications with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and rotation.
• Support data protection for object storage, databases, and Snowflake integrations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field of study.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems.
• Proficiency in access management, network security technologies, and network communications.
• Ability to provide top-tier support for at least five specific information security knowledge areas including cryptography and risk management.
• Deep Protegrity expertise across architecture, deployment, and integration troubleshooting (preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and source control via GitHub (preferred).
• Multi-cloud experience in AWS plus Azure or GCP, including serverless and container environments (preferred).
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault, HSM operations, Snowflake, and Splunk log analysis (preferred).
