What you'll do

Architect, design, develop, and test embedded software, platforms, and systems for mission-critical technologies.
Communicate with customers and stakeholders to plan software functionality based on specific needs and constraints.
Define and formalize system, hardware, software, and human integration requirements.
Execute engineering test, validation, and verification activities across various system integration environments.
Implement protocols and algorithms for resource-constrained environments to enable communication between modules.
Ensure software robustness, resilience, and fail-safe operation while mitigating safety and security vulnerabilities.
Create detailed technical documentation and optimize existing applications to implement new features.
Participate in task prioritization, code reviews, and mentorship across the software development life cycle.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
10+ years of embedded product software engineering experience or a Master's degree plus 7 years of experience.
Proficiency in Ada, C, C++, or equivalent languages.
Experience in networking protocol development, including detailed design and implementation in embedded software/firmware.
U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain the necessary U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Ability to meet U.S. Person status requirements for access to export-controlled information.
Master's degree in engineering or computer science with extensive C/C++ experience for embedded software (preferred).
Proficiency in Ada language experience (preferred).
