What you'll do

Develop embedded software for next-generation system security using C in bare-metal environments.
Interface with hardware components via memory maps and communication buses like SPI, UART, and I2C.
Perform remote debugging of systems using JTAG tools.
Develop software integrated with FPGA platforms such as Polarfire, Versal, or Kintex Ultrascale.
Implement network protocols including RSTP, VLAN, PTP, and auto-negotiation features.
Execute software design within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework using SysML.
Utilize GitLab for version control and manage CI/CD runners.
Conduct code coverage analysis and static code analysis using tools like Parasoft or CppCheck.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field, plus 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree, plus 6 years of experience.
Knowledge of C in embedded environments (preferred).
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and SySML (preferred).
Extensive knowledge of network protocols such as RSTP, VLAN, and PTP (preferred).
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to provide technical leadership.
