What you'll do

Lead the software design and development of embedded audio software for Snapdragon processors.
Ensure software meets specific performance, latency, power, robustness, and stability metrics.
Perform high-level requirements analysis and produce technical engineering documentation.
Troubleshoot and maintain software applications, frameworks, and drivers.
Manage task priorities and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products.
Communicate development status, risks, and issue mitigations to project leads and stakeholders.
Participate in strategic development and deployment team planning activities.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
4+ years of Embedded Software development with relevant industry experience (preferred).
Excellent C/C++ programming, Python, and scripting skills for embedded systems and multi-threaded environments (preferred).
Knowledge of software design patterns, multi-threaded programming, computer architecture, RTOS, data structures, and algorithms (preferred).
Expertise in Multimedia/Audio software, embedded driver development, or ARM/DSP processor debugging (preferred).
