Senior Electrical Engineer, Satellite Avionics

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end delivery of satellite avionics subsystems from initial architecture through production ramp.
• Translate mission requirements into manufacturable hardware designs and lead system/subsystem architecture.
• Drive circuit design, analysis, and ECAD schematic capture to meet performance and reliability targets.
• Lead hardware design reviews for architecture, schematics, and PCB layouts to ensure high quality.
• Develop and execute bring-up, verification, and qualification test strategies for hardware components.
• Lead debugging and root cause resolution across development, qualification, and production phases.
• Establish requirements, traceability, and verification frameworks for all hardware subsystems.
• Manage production readiness by overseeing test strategy, yield improvement, and manufacturing issue resolution.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• At least 5 years of experience developing hardware across the full product lifecycle from concept to production at scale.
• Experience with PCB design and debug involving processors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors.
• Experience with complex board designs such as high-speed interfaces, power electronics, or high-reliability systems.
• Proficiency in using ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience driving hardware through bring-up, validation, and integration processes.
• A Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferred experience with satellite, avionics, radiation-tolerant design, or high-reliability environments like aerospace or automotive.
