Senior Electrical Engineer, Satellite Avionics

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end delivery of satellite avionics subsystems from initial architecture through production ramp.
• Translate mission requirements into manufacturable hardware designs for system and subsystem architectures.
• Perform circuit design, analysis, and ECAD schematic capture to meet performance and reliability targets.
• Lead hardware design reviews for architecture, schematics, and PCB layouts to ensure high quality.
• Develop and execute bring-up, verification, and qualification test strategies for hardware components.
• Resolve root causes for issues identified during development, qualification, and production phases.
• Establish requirements, traceability, and verification frameworks for all hardware subsystems.
• Manage production readiness by overseeing test strategies, yield improvements, and manufacturing issue resolution.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• 5+ years of experience developing hardware across the full product lifecycle from concept through production at scale.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar high-reliability environments is preferred.
• Experience with PCB design and debug involving processors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors.
• Proficiency in using ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience driving hardware through bring-up, validation, integration, and production ramp.
• Experience with satellite, avionics, vehicle control systems, or radiation-tolerant designs for harsh environments.
• A Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
