What you'll do

Execute full cycle PCB design including requirements gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout, and integration.
Develop specialized fuzing circuitry for missile systems.
Design and document tailored fuzing systems and effectors in coordination with vehicle development teams.
Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for internal electronic equipment.
Perform low-level firmware development to support hardware bring-up and testing.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues during field operations.
Execute laboratory, ground, and flight tests to validate system components.
Perform vendor surveys and evaluations to support the sourcing of system components.

What we're looking for

BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
Competence with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and automated tests.
Familiarity with standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB) and MCU, CPU, and FPGA technologies.
Experience in design for signal integrity and power integrity.
Proficiency with electronic CAD tools, such as Altium (preferred).
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
5-10 years of experience in electrical design for fuzing or ordnance systems (preferred); knowledge of avionics standards and MIL-STDs (preferred).
