The Senior Director, Supply Chain Planning Process leads the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable planning processes for global operations. This role involves developing standardized S&OP, S&OE, and Materials Planning workflows to ensure seamless coordination between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and deployments. The successful candidate will build a high-performing team, establish centralized knowledge repositories, and manage the integration of digital tools and analytics platforms. Key technical requirements include expertise in planning and inventory systems such as SAP, Oracle, IBP, Kinaxis, Manugistics, or Palantir, alongside experience utilizing AI for process automation and reporting. The role addresses the complex challenge of scaling supply chain infrastructure to ensure that mission-critical defense systems are delivered on time and operate reliably in high-stakes environments while maintaining strict compliance across various business units and new acquisitions.
Design and implement scalable S&OP, S&OE, and materials planning processes across the organization.
Identify process gaps using data and metrics to develop solutions for complex supply chain problems.
Integrate digital tools and analytics platforms to improve operational accuracy and real-time decision-making.
Establish standardized planning procedures and knowledge repositories for new business lines and acquisitions.
Build a high-performing team to serve as the primary interface between engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
Develop and maintain planning playbooks and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency.
Represent planning requirements and strategic goals within executive leadership forums.
Create standardized onboarding and training programs to improve team technical and operational expertise.
What we're looking for
Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree with multiple years of experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
15+ years of direct leadership experience in S&OP, S&OE, Supply Chain, or Materials Planning in fast-growing industries.
10+ years of experience leading teams managing the implementation of complex large-scale planning systems like SAP, Oracle, IBP, Kinaxis, Manugistics, or Palantir.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and scaling complex inventory and planning systems across an enterprise.
Experience integrating and utilizing AI to automate processes, reporting, and presentations within a process environment.
Proven track record of developing scalable, repeatable planning frameworks and strategies for global environments.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage change with stakeholders at all levels.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
