Senior Director of Finance

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of finance managers and analysts to provide consistent financial support across business lines.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership by translating financial analysis into actionable resourcing and operational decisions.
• Build and pressure-test long-term business cases for new intellectual property, facility investments, and major program pursuits.
• Develop scenario-based outcomes for the long-range plan based on production ramps, R&D investment, and contract timing.
• Manage working capital forecasts and capital expenditure tracking across a diverse portfolio of product lines and contracts.
• Oversee program financial management including reporting, milestone invoicing, and monthly status updates with customer counterparts.
• Partner with growth teams to design pricing structures and new commercial models for future products.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial closing across the division.

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A leadership during periods of significant growth.
• Experience managing full planning cycles including long-range planning, annual operating plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Strong command of hardware and product economics, including unit cost, gross margin, inventory, and working capital.
• Proven track record of hiring, developing finance teams, and driving process improvement through first principles problem solving.
• Ability to build financial models and defend key assumptions while presenting materials to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic business partner across functions to influence decision-making.
• U.S. Person status and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
• Manufacturing or industrial finance experience, including capital project evaluation and factory ramp planning (preferred); exposure to IPO readiness or public-company reporting (preferred).
