What you'll do

  • Drive growth of the FAA and DoT portfolio by aligning GDIT's solutions with customer needs.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities to support division growth goals.
  • Formulate and implement integrated business development strategies for customer awards.
  • Maintain relationships with federal aviation and transportation executives and decision-makers.
  • Support the development of white papers, proposals, and marketing materials for opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • US citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in FAA and DoT business development.
  • Proven relationships with key decision-makers at the Department of Transportation.
  • Strong understanding of communications, cloud, cyber, ITIL-based IT service management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for networking and research.
  • Ability to develop winning strategies and mitigate weaknesses against competitors.
