Senior Digital Product Owner, Rental Data

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the Rental Data Model strategy to support business needs across Caterpillar and dealer networks.
• Translate complex rental business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications for engineering teams.
• Define and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog for rental data and dealer integration capabilities.
• Establish common definitions, standards, and business rules for entities like equipment, contracts, and fleet operations.
• Lead dealer onboarding initiatives to ensure adoption of enterprise rental data standards and processes.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity through reconciliation and root cause investigations across multiple systems.
• Ensure consistent data quality across platforms to enable reliable reporting and customer-facing experiences.

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of business analysis techniques to identify needs and recommend value-driven solutions.
• Ability to perform critical thinking and decision-making based on informed judgment.
• Proficiency in effective communication to transmit and interpret information across diverse teams.
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, tools, and design.
• Experience working with complex datasets, data models, and performing root cause analysis (preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases or cloud-based platforms (preferred).
• Experience using analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Data Explorer (preferred).
• CSPO or similar Product Management certification (preferred).
