What you'll do

  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to draw conclusions and provide "insight to action" recommendations for business objectives.
  • Gather, manipulate, and synthesize complex data sources including attributes, transactions, and behaviors to develop implementable strategies.
  • Identify and gather high-quality data sources through exploratory data analysis and testing to address specific business problems.
  • Integrate and transform disparate data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques.
  • Create communication materials and visualizations to present technical findings to non-technical audiences and management.
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and validation steps to ensure compliance and facilitate peer reviews.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on operationalizing recommendations and staying current on emerging technologies like Python and machine learning.
  • Monitor and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with corporate policies.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 4 years of relevant education and experience.
  • 6 years of data and analytics experience, or a combination of advanced degrees and professional experience.
  • Advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques to drive fact-based decision-making.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAS, BI tools, and other analysis software.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and translating complex findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data wrangling, munging, and emerging data sets.
  • Advanced Quantitative Degree (preferred).
  • 2 or more years of experience in decision support, bank analytics, SAS, SQL, Python, R, machine learning, or generative AI (preferred).
