Senior Data/Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead technical direction for end-to-end ML capabilities including problem framing, approach selection, and evaluation strategies.
• Build scalable data pipelines and feature engineering systems to ensure consistent training and serving of models.
• Develop and deploy production-grade ML models using techniques such as deep learning, transformers, and computer vision.
• Implement MLOps practices for model monitoring, versioning, drift detection, and automated retraining workflows.
• Establish engineering standards through design reviews, code reviews, and the creation of reusable patterns for data flows.
• Ensure data governance and responsible AI standards including PII handling and bias mitigation.
• Mentor engineers and unblock technical teams to ensure successful delivery across the ML and data stack.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 6 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, or software engineering.
• Must demonstrate experience leading technical direction for ML/data systems and ownership of model development and evaluation.
• Must possess strong engineering fundamentals in Python and SQL with production practices like testing, reviews, and CI/CD.
• Must have experience shipping and operating ML systems in production, including monitoring, rollback strategies, and data pipeline coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow and data tooling such as Spark, dbt, or Airflow is preferred.
• Experience building product ML systems like personalization, ranking, or NLP is preferred.
