Design, engineer, and manage enterprise database platforms for high availability and security.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
Integrate database platforms into CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and disaster recovery initiatives.
Automate routine operations including patching, upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for the database ecosystem.
Support hybrid and cloud-native environments using Oracle, Redis, and PostgreSQL technologies.
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve platform scalability and operational efficiency.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Advanced expertise in Oracle Exadata/RAC, Redis, and PostgreSQL database engineering and administration within large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of platform engineering principles including cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and CI/CD.
Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and modern application platforms using automation at scale.
Understanding of distributed systems management and microservices-based architectures.
Experience establishing engineering standards, operational procedures, and platform governance practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineers while influencing technical direction and strategy.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
