Senior Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement relational and medallion data architectures at scale.
• Develop production data pipelines within hyper-scale distributed computing environments.
• Build and optimize data models for mission-critical information security capabilities.
• Develop state-of-the-art features for Apache Spark systems.
• Implement ML/AI workflows and feature engineering to support analytics and reporting.
• Create semantic models and knowledge graphs to solve complex data challenges.
• Establish data quality frameworks, validation techniques, and governance compliance.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure technical excellence.

What we're looking for

• 4 years of experience designing and implementing relational and medallion data architectures.
• 4 years of experience designing and implementing production data pipelines at scale.
• 4 years of proficiency with JVM languages (Scala or Java preferred), Spark, Golang, or Swift.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and expertise with data modeling (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with JVM languages: Java or Scala (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with big data platforms (preferred).
• Familiarity with ML/AI workflows, feature engineering, knowledge graphs, and cloud compute environments like OpenStack, AWS, and Azure (preferred).
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and knowledge of data quality and governance frameworks (preferred).
