Senior Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain services that underpin mission-critical information security capabilities.
• Design and implement production data pipelines at a large scale.
• Build and optimize complex data models and medallion architectures.
• Develop state-of-the-art features for Apache Spark in distributed computing environments.
• Implement ML/AI workflows and feature engineering to support analytics and reporting.
• Manage data quality frameworks, validation techniques, and governance compliance.
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
• Create documentation and contribute to technical best practices for the team.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of expertise in designing and implementing relational and medallion data architectures.
• 4+ years of experience in the design and implementation of production data pipelines at scale.
• 4+ years of proficiency with Spark, Golang, Swift, or JVM languages (Scala or Java preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and expertise with data modeling (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with big data platforms (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with JVM languages such as Java or Scala (preferred).
• Experience with cloud compute environments, ML/AI workflows, knowledge graphs, and data governance (preferred).
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation (preferred).
