The Senior Cyber Security Fusion Analyst joins the Leidos Defense Group on the DISA GSM-O II program to support Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. You will develop Cyber Fusion standard operating procedures and methodologies while providing risk assessments and mitigation strategies to reduce the attack surface. You will utilize tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Arcsight, Virus Total, and Recorded Future to analyze netflow, PCAP data, and custom application logs. The role requires expertise in TCP/IP, OSI, and various network protocols to provide situational awareness and defense for the DODIN environment through intelligence-driven analysis and advanced cyber security analytics.

What you'll do

Analyze network monitoring data including netflow, packet captures, and system logs to identify cyber adversary activity.
Develop Cyber Fusion standard operating procedures and frameworks based on industry best practices and DoD policy.
Identify threats to the enterprise and develop mitigation strategies to reduce the attack surface.
Analyze malicious actor TTPs and provide recommendations for alignment with enterprise vulnerabilities.
Investigate system compromises and produce written analytic summaries and attack life cycle visualizations.
Provide risk assessments and recommend adjustments to tactical countermeasures for threats impacting the DODIN.
Collect analysis metrics and trending data to provide situational awareness on emerging cyber trends.

What we're looking for

Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and eligibility for a polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
12 years of related experience.
Security+ Certification or other equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification.
In-depth knowledge of network/application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and threat methodologies.
Proficiency with analysis tools including Wireshark, Splunk, Arcsight, Virus Total, Recorded Future, and others.
Experience analyzing various types of network data such as netflow, PCAP, and custom application logs.
Experience using open-source and commercial vendor platforms to identify or combat threats.
