Senior Customer Engineer, Named - Minnesota joins the GTM organization as a quota-carrying technologist and trusted advisor. This role involves managing the full customer lifecycle, from initial discovery and technical validation to long-term adoption and account expansion. You will build bespoke architectures, deliver product demonstrations, conduct Proofs of Concepts, and lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews for C-suite executives. The position requires expertise in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. To succeed, you must navigate complex technical landscapes involving DNS, DDoS mitigation, and developer platforms. Preferred skills include experience with the Cloudflare AI stack, including Workers AI and Vectorize, as well as proficiency in Python or JavaScript for custom integrations. You will utilize AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks while solving critical infrastructure problems to ensure high performance and security across the internet.
Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures for customers across security, networking, and developer platforms.
Deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase Cloudflare's capabilities.
Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial onboarding and implementation through long-term adoption and expansion.
Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to resolve integration bottlenecks and ensure rapid time-to-value.
Meet a variable quota by identifying cross-sell opportunities and ensuring deep platform adoption for revenue growth.
Conduct technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into ROI for C-level executives.
Utilize AI agents and internal tools to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning.
What we're looking for
Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer (preferred).
Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills to communicate between technical details and C-suite business strategy.
Experience building or architecting solutions using Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem (preferred).
Applied knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architectures (preferred).
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for custom integration scripts and API connectors (preferred).
Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
