What you'll do

  • Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for Solid Rocket Motor production equipment.
  • Architect and debug Siemens PLC code to ensure it is organized, maintainable, and reusable.
  • Generate and enforce internal standards for control system architectures and regulatory compliance.
  • Install, configure, and tune servo drives and VFDs for optimal performance.
  • Perform risk assessments and controls safety design in accordance with NFPA70e practices.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text).
  • Experience with servo drive and VFD configuration, PID tuning, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of ethernet-based communication protocols like ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, Ethernet IP.
  • Familiarity with NFPA70e electrical safety practices and SCADA integration.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work permanently in the U.S.
