What you'll do

  • Lead client engagements using value-based selling to create compelling narratives about potential business benefits.
  • Manage post-sales activities to validate customer value and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Develop internal and external collateral for new MongoDB initiatives and identified needs.
  • Conduct analyses to understand baseline and future state capabilities of customers.
  • Create and present business cases highlighting forecasted impacts of MongoDB solutions.
  • Translate technical recommendations into clear business benefits for management and executives.
  • Coach the sales team on tactical and strategic opportunities, providing input on account plans.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Business and Technology Strategy Consultant with at least 10 years in IT, pre-sales consulting for software vendors.
  • Expertise in business and financial modeling, including ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR calculations.
  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, RDBMS, NoSQL software, and development methodologies like SDLC, Agile, DevOps.
  • Ability to lead discovery sessions and facilitate interviews with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing executive and senior-level stakeholders effectively.
  • Power user in productivity tools, capable of custom building spreadsheets, presentations, and data visualizations.
