Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

What you'll do

• Analyze and combine data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
• Identify performance trends across auction campaigns to provide optimization recommendations and evangelize best practices.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to optimize advertiser performance and product development.
• Translate complex analytical concepts into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively identify and lead projects that impact revenue by defining scope and proposing actionable plans.
• Provide real-time analysis for auction campaigns to drive data-driven upsell recommendations with the Account Management team.
• Act as a thought leader by identifying industry trends to strengthen Snap’s in-market pitch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop measurement strategies and provide feedback on tools in development.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and research.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for analysis and data visualization.
• Ability to design technical data-based solutions that are implementable, efficient, and scalable (preferred).
• Experience performing analysis on big data sets to provide actionable insights (preferred).
• Ability to interpret complex data signals and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences (preferred).
• Data-driven and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail (preferred).
• Ability to work in an agile, dynamic environment as both an individual and a team player (preferred).
