What you'll do

Propose and facilitate architectural plans for high-throughput device provisioning and lifecycle management services.
Define and manage APIs for the Device Management Domain to ensure seamless integration with hardware and consumer teams.
Translate product requirements into technical stories and break down complex tasks for parallel team development.
Lead the implementation, optimization, and scaling of relational data layers using AlloyDB and PostgreSQL.
Architect and implement prompt engineering workflows using Anthropic Claude to automate configuration generation and log analysis.
Conduct thorough code reviews to identify security gaps, performance bottlenecks, and edge cases.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while improving development pipelines and automated guardrails.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of progressive technical experience in engineering.
4+ years of experience with Java.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
Deep experience managing and optimizing Postgres-based databases, preferably GCP AlloyDB.
Proven ability to deploy and scale microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Extensive experience designing service contracts for Python and Java microservices.
Practical experience using Anthropic Claude or similar LLMs for prompt engineering and data extraction.
