Cloud Computing Infrastructure Architect

What you'll do

• Design and implement advanced security capabilities within the Microsoft Azure Government cloud environment.
• Develop automated configuration-drift detection and remediation using Azure Policy and secure baselines.
• Manage Microsoft Sentinel operations including data connectors, KQL queries, analytic rules, and workbooks.
• Architect logging and monitoring systems to optimize telemetry collection while controlling costs.
• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines.
• Secure cloud identity through Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and managed identities.
• Lead technical workstreams from initial architecture and design through to operational adoption.
• Create measurable evidence of security controls to meet federal compliance and assurance requirements.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience designing, engineering, or securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience engineering security solutions within Microsoft Azure Government using Azure Policy and automated configuration-drift detection.
• Experience operating Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud with KQL and monitoring architectures.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience securing cloud identity including Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, managed identities, service principals, and Key Vault.
• Ability to lead technical workstreams from architecture through implementation while guiding a small engineering team.
• Public Trust determination is required.
• Bachelor's degree and Microsoft Azure certification are required.
