As a Senior Associate Product Management - Encore Processing, you will join the Encore Processing Product Management team to drive the strategy and execution of the Card Processing ecosystem. You will serve as a key engine for product delivery, managing backend architecture and business operations to ensure an ultra-resilient, highly available processing engine. Your daily responsibilities include leading product discovery for major card network integrations, mapping legacy processes to target-state architectures, and performing root-cause analyses on production errors to eliminate manual interventions. You will manage feature triaging, develop roadmaps based on customer needs, and define criteria for disaster recovery readiness. This role requires skills in agile delivery, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration. The work focuses on solving complex problems involving payment logic, money movement, posting rules, fee engine logic, and ensuring seamless transaction management during large-scale system updates.
Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, and data validation for strategic growth initiatives and card network integrations.
Map legacy processes to target-state architectures to support the rollout of prioritized bridge solutions.
Perform root-cause analyses on production errors to eliminate reliance on manual interventions.
Define and validate "Definition of Ready" criteria for critical features to ensure seamless disaster recovery failover.
Translate customer and business friction points into prioritized user stories and actionable feature roadmaps.
Manage the product lifecycle across both backend logic, such as money movement, and downstream customer touchpoints.
Provide data-driven insights and progress metrics to support leadership in developing quarterly strategy updates.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and data scientists to build high-availability processing engines.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in product management, product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a product owner in an agile development process with cross-functional teams.
