As a Senior Associate Product Management - Encore Processing, you will join the Encore Processing Product Management team to drive the strategy and execution of the Card Processing ecosystem. You will serve as a key engine for product delivery, managing high-stakes programs such as card network integrations, legacy system updates, and building an ultra-resilient processing engine. Your daily responsibilities include performing root-cause analyses on production errors, defining disaster recovery criteria, and translating business requirements into prioritized user stories. You will navigate both backend architecture—including money movement, posting rules, and fee engines—and downstream customer touchpoints like mobile and web displays. The role requires expertise in agile delivery, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and designers to ensure seamless payment behavior during system transitions while solving complex problems related to cardholder data and transaction management.
Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, and data validation for strategic card network integrations and growth initiatives.
Map legacy processes to target-state architectures to support the rollout of prioritized system updates.
Perform root-cause analyses on production errors to eliminate reliance on manual interventions and improve platform stability.
Define and validate "Definition of Ready" criteria to ensure seamless failover during disaster recovery events.
Translate customer and business friction points into prioritized user stories for engineering teams.
Manage product roadmaps by balancing backend logic, such as money movement and fee engines, with downstream customer touchpoints.
Provide data-driven insights and progress metrics to support executive leadership in quarterly strategy planning.
Break down complex business epics into manageable features and minimum viable products (MVPs) for testing.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in product management, product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences.
Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a product owner in an agile development process with cross-functional teams.
