Senior Associate, Integration and Test Engineer will join the team to perform Software Systems Integration and System Test functions for the MOSSAIC C2 Space Domain Awareness mission. The role involves executing and developing detailed test plans, procedures, and cases based on system requirements while performing both manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality. Key responsibilities include identifying and tracking defects through resolution, collaborating with engineers to define validation requirements, participating in design reviews, and maintaining technical documentation using SysML. The candidate will work within the Space Domain Awareness domain, utilizing tools such as Eggplant, Jira, and Confluence. Technical skills required include familiarity with Java, C++, Linux, Scaled Agile Framework, and DevSecOps methodologies. Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and cases based on system requirements.
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets operational standards.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Analyze test results to detect issues and identify root causes with development teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including System Models based in SysML.
Maintain the Test Automation suite.
Communicate with government customers to validate requirements and clarify engineering processes.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience in Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) activities including requirements development, test documentation, execution, troubleshooting, and defect tracking.
Ability to perform manual and automated testing for software performance and functionality.
Active Security+ CE certification (preferred).
Knowledge of Space Domain Awareness enterprise and engineering efforts (preferred).
Familiarity with MBSE/MBT/SysML, Eggplant or similar tools, Jira/Confluence, Scaled Agile Framework, DevSecOps, Java, C++, and Linux (preferred).
