What you'll do

Design, implement, and document security solutions for National Security Systems using NIST Risk Management Framework standards.
Perform vulnerability assessments and manage security compliance to identify and mitigate potential system risks.
Collaborate with developers and vendors to evaluate and design secure networks, databases, and encryption technologies.
Configure network security policies to protect against unauthorized access and ensure data privacy.
Integrate automated security checks into the CI/CD pipeline using DevSecOps practices.
Drive security architecture improvements to address emerging threats and maintain system resilience.
Communicate IT security risks and escalation requirements to relevant stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 1 year of experience, or 4 years of experience without a degree.
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Must possess a DoD 8140.03 IAT Level 2 certification.
Must have the ability to work 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
Must be proficient in the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related publications like 800-53 and 800-171.
Must have experience in Assessment & Authorization Vulnerability Management and Cybersecurity Product Development.
