What you'll do

Apply expertise in unstructured text and image data to harness open-source LLMs and VLMs.
Build machine learning and NLP models through all phases of development, including training, evaluation, and validation.
Automate workflows using a broad stack of technologies like LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and PyTorch.
Partner with engineering teams to operationalize AI models into scalable and resilient production systems.
Assess GenAI application architectures for best practices in development, deployment, and risk management.
Define requirements for AI observability, including traceability of autonomous decisions and system audit trails.
Develop continuous monitoring controls to ensure non-deterministic outputs remain within the company's risk appetite.
Guide annotators to curate high-quality, consistent datasets for model training and ongoing evaluation.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 2 years of experience performing data analytics.
A Master's degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
Experience building machine learning and NLP models through all phases of development, including training, evaluation, and validation.
Expertise in unstructured data (text, image) to leverage open source large language models (LLMs) and visual language models (VLMs).
Proficiency in Python, Scala, or R (preferred).
Experience with SQL (preferred).
Experience with AI/ML tools and ecosystems such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Weights and Biases Weave, PyTorch, or Hugging Face (preferred).
Experience working with AWS (preferred).
