Senior Analytics Consultant – CDO Analytic Engineering joins the Chief Data Office team to design and deliver reusable data products that facilitate organizational decision-making. This role involves translating complex business challenges into scalable analytic solutions, process automation, and Power App capabilities to improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will build data movement and validation rules, create semantic models, curated tables, and data dictionaries, and develop end-to-end business solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing production SQL for complex joins and analytical queries while building automated workflows and low-code applications. Key technologies and tools utilized include SQL, Alteryx, Power Automate, and Microsoft Power Apps with Power FX. The role focuses on the technical problem of ensuring data trustworthiness as it moves between systems, supporting the bank's AI and data modernization strategy through a product-centric engineering approach to analytics.
Design data movement and validation rules using SQL, Alteryx, and Power Automate.
Build end-to-end Power Apps with custom data models and Power FX to automate business processes.
Develop reusable data products including semantic models, curated tables, and data dictionaries.
Write production-grade SQL for complex joins, analytical queries, and optimized data solutions.
Translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable technical requirements and automated workflows.
Create data pipelines that ensure information remains trustworthy as it moves between systems.
Support the bank's AI and data modernization strategy through engineering-led analytics.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data modeling.
Experience building automated workflows using Alteryx, Power Automate, or comparable platforms.
Experience developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps or a comparable low-code platform.
Strong SQL development experience including complex joins, analytical queries, and dimensional data modeling.
Advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline (preferred).
Professional certification in the analytic tooling stack such as DP-600, PL-300, Alteryx Designer Advanced, Databricks Data Engineer, or dbt Analytics Engineer (preferred).
Experience with agentic AI tools applying harness-based techniques to support data and analytical development (preferred).
Strong analytical and project management skills to transform findings into executable plans in a regulated environment (preferred).
