The Senior Analyst, Business Systems serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize business systems, data solutions, and reporting capabilities. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable solutions, developing KPIs, and maintaining enterprise reporting dashboards. The position requires proficiency in Power BI, advanced SQL for creating queries and data models, and ETL processes. Candidates should also possess skills in Python for analytics and automation, along with experience in AI/LLM tools or AWS cloud platforms. The work focuses on improving efficiency, data quality, and user experience for sales, marketing, and business unit operations.
Translate business requirements from stakeholders into scalable system and process solutions.
Evaluate existing business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and data quality.
Lead system enhancement projects from initial requirements gathering through deployment and user adoption.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI.
Create and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL processes to support business intelligence.
Develop KPIs and executive reporting to provide visibility into sales performance and operational effectiveness.
Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure consistency between source systems and reporting environments.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, user acceptance testing, and training activities for business applications.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Five or more years’ experience in business systems analysis, business intelligence, commercial analytics, sales or marketing operations, data analytics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI or a comparable enterprise analytics platform.
Advanced SQL skills and practical experience with relational data models, ETL processes, data validation, and reconciliation.
Python for analytics and automation, AI/LLM tools, or Cloud platforms (AWS) certification is advantageous (preferred).
