Senior Analyst, Business Systems

What you'll do

• Design and develop end-to-end Power BI dashboards and semantic models using DAX and Power Query.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and stage data from multiple sources.
• Conduct requirements gathering to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain semantic data models that integrate data from Redshift and enterprise systems.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics to drive operational visibility and decision-making.
• Perform requirement validation and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Publish dashboards to production environments and provide training and documentation to end users.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years technical experience, Master's degree plus 4 years experience, or 9 years of related technical work experience.
• Experience in DAX (measures, calculated columns, filters, context transitions) and Power Query (M language) for data transformation.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries using joins, CTEs, aggregations, and date-based filtering.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design data models for reporting and analytics.
• Experience documenting technical designs, KPI definitions, and data architecture for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data accuracy and reconcile reporting against source systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users to gather requirements and communicate trade-offs.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, experience in operations/supply chain domains, or experience with enterprise ERP systems (preferred).
