What you'll do

  • Deliver rapid ad-hoc and exploratory reports to support immediate business needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy across multiple sources.
  • Identify repeatable requests and transition them into standardized, scalable reporting solutions.
  • Evaluate and apply AI capabilities and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Present data-driven insights and findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Automations team to develop AI-powered solutions and workflow automations.

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in BI or data development.
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, semantic data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Strong SQL development skills including queries, views, and stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in modern data transformation tools like DBT and understanding of ETL/ELT best practices.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools like GitHub and orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Proficiency in leveraging modern AI platforms including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude.
  • Experience designing enterprise reporting and financial analytics solutions (experience in food service is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
