Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the full life cycle of machine learning engineering from solution design to production deployment.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and infrastructure for GenAI and ML applications.
• Configure and manage AI/ML infrastructure components in cloud and on-premise environments like AWS and GCP.
• Design and implement complex technical solutions and prototypes for machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Consult with data scientists and business partners to define ML model development approaches and patterns.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on ML solutions and best practices.
• Identify and monitor risks associated with business activities to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, or software development implementing data solutions.
• Extensive programming experience using Python, SQL, and Java.
• Extensive data engineering experience including building, integrating, and optimizing data pipelines.
• Experience delivering end-to-end machine learning and AI/GenAI solutions using agile methodology.
• Experience leveraging ML Ops principles and implementing automated workflows.
• Expert knowledge of at least one cloud platform and relevant components like AWS Sagemaker.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of Data Science principles, stochastic modeling, and advanced mathematical techniques.
• Programming skills using FastAPI, OpenShift, and Snowflake (preferred).
• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
• US military experience through service or as a military spouse/domestic partner (preferred).
