What you'll do

Architect, build, and maintain AI-enabled applications and services within air-gapped and government cloud environments.
Deploy, serve, and tune large language models and ML models on-premises or in accredited cloud enclaves.
Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and embedding workflows over controlled data sets.
Operationalize the program's AI governance framework, including model tiering, use-case approval, and audit requirements.
Support security accreditation activities, including RMF documentation and responsible AI evidence.
Build and optimize data pipelines to feed AI-driven features and integrate with existing program systems.
Establish code quality, testing, and documentation standards while mentoring mid-level developers.
Brief technical approaches and results to program leadership and government customers.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have professional software development experience (or with a relevant advanced degree).
Must have 3+ years of experience building or integrating ML/AI capabilities.
Must have expert-level Python skills and working proficiency in at least one other language like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
Must have experience deploying LLMs or ML models in disconnected, on-premises, or government cloud environments.
Must have experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD in restricted environments, and production-level model inference.
Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, RMF accreditation, or NRO programs is preferred (preferred).
