What you'll do

Develop and maintain software applications with AI/ML capabilities in air-gapped government cloud environments.
Implement LLM features like RAG, embeddings, and summarization using locally hosted models.
Build data pipelines that ensure proper classification handling and data hygiene for AI features.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems via REST APIs and structured data formats.
Write clean, testable code while participating in peer reviews and following engineering standards.
Implement logging, audit, and evaluation tools according to program rules of engagement.
Support the deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement of AI-enabled systems.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (or currently in the process of obtaining one).
8 or more years of related experience.
Professional software development experience, or without a degree.
Strong Python proficiency and working knowledge of at least one other language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts including model inference, embeddings, vector search, or prompt engineering.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and Git version control.
Experience with locally hosted LLMs, PyTorch, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, government clouds, or IC/DoD programs (preferred).
