Security Researcher

What you'll do

• Track and collect information on Latam-language eCrime actors, tools, tradecraft, and techniques.
• Conduct OSINT investigations across social media, hidden services, and online forums.
• Identify emerging cyber threats and technical trends specifically related to Latin American threat actors.
• Follow up on leads to identify and track eCrime threat actors in various online communities.
• Provide unique insights for intelligence products used by customers and stakeholders.
• Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices during investigations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce analytical reports and threat estimates.
• Utilize AI technologies to streamline workflows and improve research efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is required.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.
• Knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by eCrime actors, specifically those used by Latam-language groups.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Practical experience with virtual HUMINT (preferred).
• Prior intelligence community, human intelligence (HUMINT), or cyber threat intelligence background (preferred).
