Security Adoption Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of concurrent engagements with hundreds of internal engineering teams.
• Lead discovery calls to understand team architectures, security postures, and specific adoption blockers.
• Create tailored deployment plans that translate product capabilities into actionable steps for different environments.
• Identify recurring friction points and work with product engineers to improve tooling and documentation.
• Act as a technical point of contact capable of communicating complex concepts to both SREs and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive the transition toward self-service adoption by identifying and eliminating manual touchpoints in the workflow.
• Track engagement progress across teams and surface systemic issues for escalation or resolution.
• Help define and refine the scalable playbook for security product adoption across the organization.

What we're looking for

• Experience in systems administration, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or production services roles.
• Practical familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting (bash).
• Proficiency with infrastructure tooling, configuration management, deployment pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to lead meetings and produce clear plans.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Background in a customer-facing technical role such as technical account management or solutions engineering (preferred).
• Experience working across many teams simultaneously in consulting, enablement, or platform capacities (preferred).
• Familiarity with security concepts like access control, credential management, and secrets handling (preferred).
