What you'll do

• Develop code, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and monitoring dashboards for data pipelines.
• Engineer and build reliable cloud services to provide satellite network connectivity.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate ground-based traffic processing infrastructure.
• Build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure and establish software development best practices.
• Implement features to enhance service quality and security for customers.
• Debug and create innovative products for prototype and production environments.
• Operate service fleets and resolve customer issues to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Mentor junior and new team members on technical tasks and engineering culture.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Experience managing efforts in Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, or large-scale web applications.
• Experience designing and building large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, statistics, and system design.
• Experience building services using AWS products (preferred).
