SATCOM IP Network Support Analyst

What you'll do

• Create and update tickets in DISA applications to track and resolve customer network issues.
• Monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24/7 basis.
• Configure and support IP network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
• Provide IP satellite modem support by configuring and issuing option, boot, and RSP files.
• Remotely manage customer access to the IP/SATCOM networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues with DoD Gateway facilities and operators.
• Verify that all equipment is operating within the established baseline configuration.
• Provide global equipment configurations at DoD SATCOM Gateways using SAA and GAA documentation.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date.
• High school diploma and 2-4 years of experience are required.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Moderate experience with the operation and configuration of MILSATCOM encryption devices.
• Moderate understanding and experience with Satellite Communications (SATCOM) architecture and signal flow.
• Experience managing IP over SATCOM networks using iDirect, Linkway, EBEM, or equivalent FM-TDMA hubs.
