Principal SAP S4 Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement enterprise-level software solutions for Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within SAP S4.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and lead the development of related proposals.
• Serve as the functional and technical lead for P2P objects including purchase orders, invoices, and e-invoicing systems.
• Identify and integrate new technologies to drive productivity and efficiency gains across Source-to-Pay (S2P) areas.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) while ensuring compliance with ITGC controls and GxP standards.
• Evaluate emerging technological trends and develop strategies to address competitive threats in the pharmaceutical landscape.
• Mentor and supervise team members while overseeing their performance and professional development.
• Communicate technical updates and project statuses effectively to executive leadership, peers, and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience, Master's with 7 years, or PhD with 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP S4.
• In-depth knowledge of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) with SAP and application program development.
• Techno-functional SAP MM experience for R2P/P2P full software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a principal investigator generating original technical ideas and strategies.
• Ability to solve complex problems using creative thinking and championing new technologies.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills demonstrated by presenting at scientific or technical conferences.
