What you'll do

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using declarative capabilities and Apex code.
  • Build and maintain Lightning Web Components and other web development technologies.
  • Integrate third-party systems into the Salesforce platform.
  • Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to Salesforce governor limits.
  • Advise government clients on modernizing existing systems and adopting new technologies.
  • Mentor and grow junior team members within the development team.
  • Manage code and metadata using Git repositories and DevOps tools.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, and Aura or Lightning Web Components.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or software development.
  • Experience committing code and metadata to git repositories.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Experience with federal government or healthcare IT (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools like GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum (preferred).
  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C, C++, HTML, CSS, and SQL (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and client-facing advisory skills (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).
