As a Salesforce CRM Software Engineer III within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and creating high-quality production code while producing architecture artifacts for complex applications. Your daily work involves developing and maintaining Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, and Lightning Connect to call external APIs. You will utilize Apex programming, REST API integration, OAUTH2, and various data transfer methods. The role requires leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding tools throughout the SDLC to improve code quality and test coverage. You will also manage data integrity through reports and dashboards while ensuring all developments align with specific sales processes and CRM platform requirements within a large corporate environment.
Develop, debug, and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms within a large corporate environment.
Design and produce architecture artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and automated testing.
Build and maintain Salesforce Lightning UI components and integrate external APIs using REST and OAUTH2.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in system architecture and coding hygiene.
Interpret business requirements to create technical specifications and design documents for the CRM platform.
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and integrity across software systems.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
3+ years of applied experience in Salesforce development.
In-depth knowledge of the Apex programming language and its limitations.
Solid understanding of building Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, and Lightning Connect to call external APIs.
Experience with REST API, Messaging, Data transfers, OAUTH2, Caching, Future calls, Outlook integration, and Open CTI.
Ability to interpret business requirements and prepare specification and design documents.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies like CI/CD.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows (preferred); Salesforce certifications (preferred).
