Risk Decisions - UAT & Quality Transformation VP As a Vice President within the CCB Risk Decisions Product team, you will lead the end-to-end testing and quality function for complex batch and real-time decisioning platforms. You are responsible for managing a geographically distributed team to modernize manual UAT into scalable, automated, and pipeline-integrated quality engineering. Your daily work involves defining testing strategies, establishing governance standards, and overseeing defect management across products like Offer Enablement and Account Management. You will drive the adoption of GenAI-enabled testing practices while ensuring audit-ready documentation in a controlled environment. Key technical requirements include expertise in API and service-layer automation, CI/CD pipelines, and risk-based testing for platforms involving predictive models and third-party data. You will utilize Jira, PowerPoint, and Excel to manage quality metrics and coordinate with cross-functional partners across Product, Technology, Risk, Data, and Operations.

What you'll do

  • Own the testing and quality strategy for batch and real-time decisioning platforms to improve coverage and release confidence.
  • Lead the testing operating model including standards, governance, quality gates, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Modernize UAT and QA practices by implementing automation-first approaches integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build scalable automation across service, API, and end-to-end business process layers.
  • Drive the responsible adoption of GenAI-enabled testing practices for scenario design and defect analysis.
  • Execute end-to-end test planning, coordination, and risk-based quality assessments across complex initiatives.
  • Measure quality outcomes through actionable metrics such as defect trends, automation coverage, and cycle time.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing, geographically distributed team through performance management and coaching.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in QA/UAT, testing leadership, quality engineering, and/or program delivery.
  • 5+ years leading teams and/or testing functions, including coaching, performance management, and workforce planning across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to define and run testing governance, including standards, quality gates, metrics, reporting, and executive-level escalations.
  • Demonstrated experience modernizing testing from manual UAT to automation and continuous testing with measurable improvements.
  • Strong hands-on and leadership experience with test automation across API/service and end-to-end workflows.
  • Experience delivering testing for complex, integrated platforms with multiple dependencies, environments, and data sources.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/product delivery practices and proficiency with Jira and common reporting tools.
  • Experience in Consumer Banking, Credit Card, Lending, and/or Risk Management decisioning (preferred).
  • Experience implementing GenAI-enabled testing capabilities with strong governance and controls (preferred).
  • Background in real-time decisioning and batch decisioning platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with model-informed decisioning and testing involving predictive models and third-party data sources (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success building enterprise-scale testing frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience partnering with Controls, Audit, and Operational Risk teams to produce audit-ready test artifacts (preferred).
  • Strong track record leading cross-functional transformation programs across Product, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams (preferred).
